I shot Edward Gorey’s desk the week of his death on April 15, 2000 as part of a documentary I was doing with him about his everyday life. He did most of his illustrations over the last 20 years in this cramped space, taking breaks at the couch in his living room with Buffy the Vampire Slayer or some USA network movie on the tv.
